Ms Khawaja's class at The Gatwick School organised a food drive in support of the work of local charity, Crawley Open House.
A spokesperson for the charity said; "These bright students are very interested in what we do and asked excellent, relevant questions when we met them recently. We are very grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness, and for the ongoing support of the School."
