Meet the Board & Management Group


Meet the Board

The Board provides strategic oversight of the BID responsible for finance and governance. It can be made up of between three and nine people, of which BID members must make up at least half. The Board meets quarterly.

Meet the Management Group

The Management Group Board is responsible for operational matters and over sight of project delivery. It is predominantly made up of Manor Royal business representatives but is supported by individuals from partner organisations like Crawley Borough Council and West Sussex County Council who can advance the aims of the BID. Membership of the Management Group can be fluid and meetings usually take place six times per year.

Meet the Working Groups

Working groups are established on a project by project basis. They can be task and finish groups or longer standing groups as necessary. The have delegated responsibility from the Board for specific tasks. Membership is fluid and the groups can vary in size and meet as necessary.

How decisions are made

The key documents for which the Board is responsible, including how the Manor Royal BID operates are publicly available in the BID Business Plan section. The Business Plan sets out what the BID will deliver, the Operating Agreement sets out the rules for calculating and collecting the BID Levy and the Terms of Reference summarises how decisions are made.


Manor Royal Membership - Be part of it

Involvement of Manor Royal businesses is vital and actively encouraged. Membership of the Manor Royal BID Company (MRBD Limited) is FREE to all Manor Royal BID levy payers. Only members of the BID Company can vote at AGMs and matters of strategic importance.
