Revenues surge at Inspiration Healthcare in Manor Royal
Medical technology firm Inspiration Healthcare Group has reported a surge in revenue, buoyed by a strong order book.
The Crawley-headquartered group has reported a surge in revenue of 27 per cent for the first quarter of 2020.
This does not include contracts won for the supply of ventilators to the NHS revealed on 16 and 20 March. When combined, both contracts are worth more than £5m of additional revenue and are expected to be accounted for in the second quarter.
The company has said that its order book remains strong and that it is receiving considerable interest in its products.
Chief executive Neil Campbell said: "The current situation has presented challenges for many companies and it is a tribute to our team, along with our outstanding suppliers, that we are still supplying vital intensive care equipment and the support that goes with its use.
"We look forward to shipping the ventilators we have orders for to the NHS and to the rest of the year with confidence."
