Gatwick Road Parade: Advance warning of Traffic Regulation Order
Businesses, staff and visitors are being warned of the upcoming introduction of a Traffic Regulation Order for Gatwick Road Parade.
Following works to improve the road lining on Sunday 15 November, restrictions will come into force to restrict any parking between 6am and 7am.
This work is part of the efforts of the Manor Royal BID working with West Sussex County Council to introduce a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) in the area to deter long-stay and overnight parking. This parking has a huge impact on the availability of parking for businesses.
Steve Sawyer, Manor Royal BID's Executive Director, said: "Once these works have been carried out and signed off by West Sussex County Council, the restriction will then be enforceable and fixed penalty notices will be issued if cars are found to be parking there between the advertised restricted hours. Please help to spread the word to make sure people who regularly use this area are aware of this order."
