Manor Royal start for unique motorcycle journey to Ibiza with superstar DJ Carl Cox
Fans of music and motorcycling will embark on a unique journey to Ibiza from Manor Royal-based P&H Motorcycles.
Customers of the dealership will join superstar DJ Carl Cox and Ducati UK team for the Destination Ibiza trip.
Led by Mr Cox himself, the group will leave Manor Royal for Ibiza on Thursday 17 September and arrive at the iconic Space nightclub on Tuesday 22 September.
Destination Ibiza was established in 2009 by Steve Manning and Carl Cox to create a unique motorcycle tour providing a whole new riding experience for people who are passionate about motorcycling and music.
Now entering its seventh year, the one-of-a-kind motorcycle tour is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Speaking on this year's edition of this iconic motorcycle tour, Mr Cox said: "Riding my Ducati through Europe is a real pleasure, not only are the roads amazing but you get the chance to eat at some amazing restaurants and see some spectacular views."
As one of the largest dealerships of its kind in the UK, P&H Motorcycles will provide all the essential travel accessories and motorcycle luggage.
Their in-house rider training school, Advanced Riding Techniques (ART), will also be offering their qualified instructors as tour guides, ensuring the trip is kept safe as well as fun.
Paul Searle, P&H Motorcycles' managing director, said: "It is a great that we can once again provide the essential equipment needed for the Destination Ibiza trip.
"Each year it continues to go from strength to strength and we are pleased to be able to showcase that we are passionate about all events on two wheels."
The group will be using a fleet of the latest Ducati motorcycles, provided by Ducati UK.
Riding south through the stunning Bordeaux region of France, they will cross the northern edge of the Pyrenees at Pau before heading through the centre of Spain to Denia.
There they will embark on the ferry to Ibiza arriving on the evening of Monday 21 September in plenty of time before the legendary Space closing party the following day.
On the return journey, the group will stop at the Motorland Circuit at Aragon in Spain for the 14th round of the 2015 MotoGP Championship with the best grandstand seats before riding north through France.
Highlights include the N116 road to Perpignan, the Millau Bridge, staying at a sixth generation family hotel in the Morvan Forest and dining in a Michelin restaurant before returning to the UK at the beginning of October.
Alan Jones, Ducati UK's press manager, added: "Carl is a good friend and big fan of Ducati so we are more than happy to be helping him and P&H Motorcycles with their Destination Ibiza trip again.
"The two have had a great partnership so far this season in our 2015 Ducati TriOptions Cup series, and with the range of Ducati machines we have provided for the trip I'm sure that will continue on their journey to Ibiza."
