Meet Manor Royal Employers

Meet Manor Royal Employers

Job seekers, commuters, students and parents are invited to visit a free Careers Expo this Thursday 4 April at the Arora Hotel, Crawley from 3.00pm to 8.00pm, by the Manor Royal BID.

Fifty companies from Manor Royal Business District will be showcasing their careers, training and job vacancies and there are free seminars providing tips, advice and information about the wide range of job opportunities locally.

The free-to-attend event is an excellent opportunity for local people of all ages to drop by and get advice on looking for work, interviews and apprenticeships, whilst meeting a wide range of businesses, training companies and colleges.

Created by marketing company Prowse & Co. for the Manor Royal BID, the event is sponsored by financial services company B&CE, recently named Employer of the Year at the Sussex Business Awards.  Manor Royal companies have all been invited to participate at no charge.

There is an impressive list of companies attending and all will be displaying information about their company and providing information to attendees. They include Virgin Atlantic, Elekta; Greenstar Cleaning, Evans Cycles, L3 Commercial Training Solutions, South East Coast Ambulance Service, NatWest, Thales, Varian, Welland Medical and Motorline.

There are also a range of free workshops running that people can attend (no need to book in advance):

• 4.15pm-4.40pm Discover what ‘hot' skills employers are looking for with Crawley College
• 5.00pm-5.30pm Find out why B&CE is one of the best employers in Sussex and how you can work for them
• 5.45pm-6.10pm How to use Social Media to find employment with LoveLocalJobs
• 6.35pm-7.05pm Meet the Employer with Virgin Atlantic

It is an ideal chance for professionals, school leavers, college graduates, parents returning to work, commuters wishing to work locally or anyone looking for a career change to discover the exciting range of careers available on their doorstep.

No need to book - just turn up!
