Dont get a ticket
Crawley Borough Council has additional capacity to enforce parking restrictions. This has come about following the merging of the Civil Enforcement Officers and the Community Wardens service.
What does this mean?
On the plus side, this means poor and inconsiderate parking in areas where there are existing restrictions in place can be enforced to keep the road safe and free moving. This will also help with any new restrictions planned in known "hot spot" areas like Gatwick Road.
On the other side, if you have gotten used to parking in an area that has traffic restrictions in place you are at risk of being issued with a parking ticket. It also means traffic restrictions can now be enforced after 6pm when the previous enforcement service usually ended.
So be aware and be careful.
