Co-working & Flexible Office Lands at Manor Royal

Co-working & Flexible Office Lands at Manor Royal

Freedom Works, which runs creative co-working and flexible office spaces is opening a new facility on Manor Royal, providing private offices, dedicated hot desks, and a community breakout area for SMEs.

Freedom Works Gatwick will offer 24 private offices, 3 meeting/conference rooms and 30 dedicated & hot desks. Each facility provides 24-hour access, 7 days a week for dedicated members; flexible membership packages including permanent dedicated desks or those who just wish to use a desk for an hour or two; 1GB Super-Fast internet/WIFI, enhanced security with CCTV; free tea, coffee and fresh fruit; access to workshops and networking events; and Free Beer Friday.

There are no long term commitments, but rolling membership agreements which enable businesses to scale up and down and a clear pricing model. The membership fee is inclusive of everything - no hidden charges, with prices ranging from as little as £2 per hour for hot desking.

"Its flexibility and collaborative nature appeals to SME's and those starting up" says Jon Trigg of Freedom Works. "We've seen a big demand already from businesses who do not want the liability of a long term lease", he explains. However, the true benefit of co-working and flexible office-space which is driving demand is the community aspect - where having a collective of businesses working together under one roof only increases the potential for collaboration and working within the local community.

"That's why one of our aims is to keep 'home grown talent at home'," comments Jon. "By having the new space in Gatwick, we believe this offers an option to those not wishing to head up to London to work and provides a place for local talent to integrate on a daily basis."
The overarching objective behind Freedom Works is to produce a network of co-working spaces throughout Sussex to create a network of environments which encourages productivity and collaboration amongst the local communities.
