Elekta-sponsored charity ball hoping to raise thousands of pounds for The Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre
A charity ball will be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in October to raise money for the Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre.
Sponsored by Manor Royal-based Elekta, the Black and White Ball is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for the charity as well as raising awareness of the work they do.
Nestled in the grounds of Crawley Hospital in West Green, The Olive Tree offers servies for those dealing with cancer, be it patients themselves or those close to them.
"It's a welcoming and relaxing place to go for a large variety of complementary therapies such as massage, acupuncture, yoga, reflexology and many more," said Eleanor Cox, Elekta's marketing coordinator, business line management. "Workshops, counselling, coaching and support groups are also available - any way that members need support, they're happy to offer it."
October's fundraising event is open to everyone with tickets costing £45 per person. The evening on Saturday, October 17 starts at 7pm followed by dinner at 7.30pm.
Dress code is black and/or white and tickets include a three course meal and reception drink on arrival. There will be music by the Lounge Lizards and the Mindsweepers as well as a raffle and auction
