The Gatwick School signs contract with Pinnacle Furniture
The Gatwick School has hired Manor Royal firm Pinnacle Furniture to provide furniture and equipment for the next phase of its refurbishment. The school, which opened on Gatwick Road in 2014, picked Pinnacle following a competitive tender process.
The school is about to undergo the next phase of refurbishment which will be complete in time for September and will provide a further 7 classrooms, state of the art science, graphics and music rooms and a drama studio.
The school already has over 300 primary and secondary pupils having proved popular with Crawley families. Pinnacle, which operates from premises on Tinsley Lane North, specialises in providing furniture for schools across the south east.
Martha Burnige, trustee of The Gatwick School said: The Gatwick School is delighted to be working with Pinnacle on the next exciting phase of development. "As a state funded school we have to make sure we get best value for money and Pinnacle’s bid came out on top", she said. "We look forward to working with Fraser Thompson and the rest of the Pinnacle team to provide our pupils with a 21st century school."
Andrew Ball of Pinnacle said: "We were particularly keen to work with The Gatwick School on this project given that they are such close neighbours on Manor Royal. Our team will be working hard to make sure the brand new learning spaces inspire the teacher and pupils and allow the school to continue to flourish."
