Meet the Board and Management Group

The Board provides strategic oversight of the BID. It is made up of up to thirteen people, of which BID members must make up at least half. The Board meets quarterly.

The Board is supported by a Management Group that provides advice and scrutiny on operational matters and oversight of new and existing projects. The Board and Management Group are made up of Manor Royal business representatives and is supported by individuals from partner organisations like Crawley Borough Council and West Sussex County Council.

Governance of the BID

The BID Board is made up of up to 13 Directors, who are ultimately accountable for the Manor Royal BID and are elected by the formal members of the BID.

Two committees support the work of the Board. A Governance Committee, dealing with HR, Finance & Risk, and a Projects & Services Committee, that considers proposals for new projects and services and monitor the performance of existing ones). Both Committees are accountable to the Board, who may from time to time delegate certain specific decision making responsibilities to one or other Committee.

The Board is supported from time to time by advisers who are chosen for their insight and experience and attend either the Board or Committee meetings on the invitation of the elected Board members.
