Gatwick Road Parade: Advance warning of road works in August
Businesses, staff and visitors are being warned of roadworks planned for the Gatwick Road Parade on Sunday 2nd August.
This work involves the resurfacing of the service road in front of the parade business units during which time the road will be closed to businesses and members of the public.
This letter has been sent to all businesses and notices will be put up.
This resurfacing work is part of the efforts of the Manor Royal BID working with West Sussex County Council to introduce a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) in the area to deter long-stay and overnight parking.
Following resurfacing works restrictions will come into force to prohibit any parking in this area between 6am and 7am, although the TRO parking restriction itself may take a few more weeks to come into effect as it is subject to the West Sussex County Council process TROs have to comply with and will require permanent signs and notices to be put up. More information will follow concerning details of the TRO implementation nearer the time.
Further information can be found about the resurfacing work can be found at www.westsussexhighways.org by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01243 642 105
