Dualit launches an international competition to find its oldest working toaster
Manor Royal manufacturer Dualit regularly hears from its customers who have had their Dualit toaster for years.
Many of these people received theirs as treasured wedding gifts or were passed down to them through generations. Others were given a Dualit for achieving years of loyal service in cafes, B&Bs and restaurants.
Now, as part of its 70-year anniversary celebrations, Dualit is launching a worldwide competition to find its oldest, working toaster.
The winner will receive a special prize comprising of a Dualit kettle, hand mixer, hand blender set, blender, coffee machine, milk frother, a selection of coffee and tea capsules and a limited edition 70th anniversary, two-slot classic toaster, which will be just one of seventy available.
To enter, customers will need to take a photo of their toaster and a photo of the base or side plate label, as this holds the key information on when the toaster was made.
Photos should be sent via email to email@example.com or posted to Dualit's Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Google+ pages including the tag #Dualit70 along with details on how long it's been toasting by October 9.
The winner of the competition will be announced on the official incorporation date (October 16) via the Dualit website and social media pages. A Pinterest board will also be created to showcase a selection of the entries. Full terms and conditions can be found at http://www.dualit.com/competition-terms
